Requirements for applying for a study visa in Hungary
1) Acceptance letter from the university

The time taken during the visa process of Hungary takes about a month to 60 days.
The students belonging to any other nation except the EU have to apply for a work permit as well.

Residence Permit for the Purpose of Job-searching or Entrepreneurship :
Non-EU/EEA and Swiss students who completed a degree from a Hungarian university or any other higher education institute are eligible for the Study-to-Work visa. This permit allows you to stay in the country for another 9 months after graduation and cannot be extended.

1) Choose a Program
Start by choosing a degree program that is right for you. Select the level of studies you are looking for (bachelor, master, PhD), and your field of study. 4) Submit Your Application

5) Wait to Be Admitted
Admission results are often notified by e-mail or post (hurray!). If you are a fee-paying student meaning that you are not an EU/EEA citizen, you will usually be asked to pay the tuition fees for the first semester. Otherwise, the university where you will pursue your studies will send you an official letter of admission, admission confirmation for visa purposes, and other practical information about studying abroad in Hungary.
6) Apply for a Visa
If you are not from an EU/EEA country, upon acceptance into a Hungarian university, begin the visa application process as soon as possible because the process can take up between one to three months and requires several important documents, do not wait. You must apply for a student visa at the Hungarian consulate or embassy before leaving the country. The documents required for a Hungarian student visa are:
